Filler Injections

As we age, we lose collagen, fat, and bone in the face, which can cause sagging, hollow areas, and dynamic wrinkles. Fillers work by adding volume back, lifting and contouring the face in a way that looks natural and refreshed.

At Facevestment, we proudly use Revanesse®, RHA Collection®, and Radiesse®—three of the most advanced and trusted fillers in aesthetics—to deliver elegant, natural-looking results with superior safety, longevity, and collagen-boosting benefits.

  • How should I prepare for my filler appointment?

    • Avoid alcohol, aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, and vitamin E for at least 48 hours before your appointment to reduce the risk of bruising.

    • Stay hydrated and eat a light meal prior to treatment.

    • Arrive with clean skin—please avoid makeup or skincare products on the face.

Can I receive fillers if I’m sick or healing from a procedure?

No. Postpone your appointment if you’re feeling unwell or recovering from a recent illness, dental work, or skin treatment.

What if I’ve had filler before?

Please let us know at the time of booking. We’ll assess previous filler and determine the best approach for your goals.

Should I take anything to reduce swelling or bruising?

Arnica supplements may help reduce bruising and are safe to take 1–2 days before and after your appointment (optional, but beneficial).

Can I get filler before a special event?

It’s best to plan treatments at least 2 weeks prior to any important occasion to allow time for healing and optimal results.

  • What to Expect:

    • Mild swelling, bruising, tenderness, or firmness may occur and typically resolve within a few days to two weeks.

    • Asymmetry or unevenness may be noticeable early on but often evens out as the filler settles.

    Aftercare Instructions:

    • Do not touch, press, or massage the treated areas unless advised by your provider.

    • Avoid makeup, alcohol, exercise, and heat (sauna, hot showers, sun exposure) for 24–48 hours.

    • Sleep with your head elevated the first night to reduce swelling.

    • Apply cold compresses gently if needed—never place ice directly on the skin.

    • Stay well-hydrated and avoid salty foods for the first day or two.

    When to Contact Us:

    • If you notice severe pain, pale or blotchy skin, or signs of infection, please contact us immediately.

    • A follow-up or refinement appointment may be scheduled after 2 weeks to ensure the best results.

  • How do dermal fillers work?

Dermal fillers restore volume, enhance contours, and smooth fine lines by using hyaluronic acid or other biocompatible substances injected beneath the skin.

    Is it safe?

Yes. When performed by a licensed and experienced injector, dermal fillers are FDA-approved and considered safe. We use only high-quality, trusted products.

    Does it hurt?

Most fillers contain a numbing agent (lidocaine), and we also use topical numbing for comfort. You may feel slight pressure or a pinch during treatment.

    Are there any side effects?

Mild swelling, redness, or bruising at the injection site is common and typically resolves within a few days. More serious complications are rare and will be discussed during your consultation.

What should I expect after the procedure?

You may notice immediate results, with full effects visible as swelling subsides (usually within 1–2 weeks). Avoid strenuous activity, alcohol, and excessive heat for 24–48 hours.
